This fabric does not carry certifications because it is deadstock, which is inherently sustainable. We source deadstock (excess fabric) from luxury brands and save it from being dumped in a landfill or burned, the industry standard. Nothing new can be more sustainable than using something that is already produced, so using deadstock fabrics is a brilliant way to reduce textile waste and uphold sustainable values

Dr. Yvonne Sylvain
Dr. Yvonne Sylvain was the first female doctor from Haiti and the first woman accepted into the University of Haiti Medical School, earning her medical degree in 1940. She played a vital role in providing improved medical access and tools for Haitian citizens and was a leading advocate for the physical, economical, social and political equality of Haitian women. Throughout her life, she actively promoted Haitian culture through art, painting, and theater. By 1932, she had exhibited over thirty oil paintings and drawings.
Our items are named after the works of artists who have shaped us, whether socially, artistically or culturally, that have expanded our universe and guided us to look inward alike. Whether it’s a book you can cling to when feeling lonely, or a song to scream at the top of your lungs during a roadtrip, they’re here to remind you that you’ve got nothing to prove, but everything to feel.
Longevity and care
All our items are sewn with the utmost care to ensure they will be staples in your wardrobe for years to come. In order to aid their capacity to last, especially when it comes to our natural fabrics that are more sensitive than synthetics, please ensure to follow the care instructions below:
- only wash when necessary on a gentle cycle at 20°C or at most 30°C
- do not use bleach and be careful when using spot cleaning treatments to ensure they are suitable for the fabric at hand
- do not tumble dry
- iron inside out on low
