• Made from flowy emerald green linen, the Whina is a beautiful button up shirt with slight puffy sleeves that end in a slim cuff. It has two chords sewn in the side seams that can be tied either at the front or at the back for a belted look.
• Lyn is wearing 3XL and her height is 1.70m.

Whina Cooper was renowned for her activism in fighting for Māori land rights. Dame Whina was 80, and had already given a lifetime of service to her people, when she set out to walk more than 1000km to Wellington, leading the famous 1975 land march from Te Hāpua (in the far north) to Parliament in Wellington. The march was organised by Māori groups opposed to the further loss of their land. It marked a new era of protest and reform. She was made a DBE (Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in 1981 and a member of the Order of New Zealand in 1991.
