• Made from long lasting linen in burgundy, the Ruby is a simplified version of this summer’s milkmaid dress, Mihaela. We removed the ruffles from the laced bodice and puffy sleeves and gave it overall a more fitted fit, while replacing the zipper at the back with a ruched elasticated panel for better size adjustability. The skirt is a bias cut and has a cheeky slit.
• Patricia is wearing XXL and her height is 1.59m.
• Standard length from waistline to hem is 70cms. Length can vary a few cms depending on size and the product showcased may have been altered in length to best fit the model’s height.
• This fabric is a beautiful full bodied 100% linen with great opacity even in its light nuances, it is soft to the touch & gets softer with every wash.

Ruby Dee was an American actress and social activist who was known for her pioneering work in African American theatre and film and for her outspoken civil rights activism. With her husband, Ms. Dee produced several television specials, including Today is Ours, Martin Luther King: The Dream & The Drum, and two segments of A Walk Through the 20th Century with Bill Moyers. In 1965 she became the first African American woman to star in major roles at the American Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Connecticut. Dee was jointly awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1995 and a Kennedy Center Honor in 2004 and in 2005 Dee received a lifetime achievement award from the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis.
