• Made from soft organic cotton poplin in bright pink, the Rosa is a loose fitting midi length dress. The neckline is ruched with a long lace, so it can be worn both on and off shoulder and in the pictures the dress is styled with our Rosette choker necklace that you can buy here. The sleeves are ample and end in an elasticated cuff.
• Lavinia is wearing L and her height is 1.87m.
• Standard length from shoulder to hem is 116cms. Length can vary a few cms depending on size and the product showcased has been altered in length to best fit the model’s height.
• A poplin made from GOTS certified organic cotton that is both soft and sturdy – it is very pleasant to the touch, yet it has a stiffer quality to it that gives the items beautiful volume. It is neither fully opaque, nor see through, a perfect weight for warmer weather.

Rosa Parks was an American civil rights activist whose prominence was born when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. Her act of rebellion helped spark the Montgomery bus boycott, a movement whose purpose was to desegregate the city’s buses. The boycott ended with a Supreme Court ruling declaring segregation on public transit systems to be unconstitutional. While a symbol of the Civil Rights Movement, Rosa and her husband got fired and had to move to Detroit, where she made a new life for herself working as a secretary and receptionist in U.S. Representative John Conyer’s congressional office. She also served on the board of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
