It has long sleeves that end in cuffs and all details are adorned by a delicate lace trim: the collar, cuffs and down the button closure. You can opt for a matching lace trimmed belt to decorate further or accentuate the waist.

Fierce advocate of gender equality, Rokeya wrote many short stories, novels, poems, satire and essays, calling for women to be treated equally as men. She held the lack of education to be responsible for women lagging behind men in her writings. In one of her first novellas, “Sultana’s Dream”, she reversed the gender roles and portrayed women as dominant gender. In 1911, Rokeya opened the Sakhawat Memorial Girls’ School in Calcutta, which she ran for twenty-four years, and in 1916, she founded the Bengali Muslim Women’s Association. She continued to hold conferences that focused on advocating for women’s rights and reform.
