- Made from soft & stretchy organic cotton poplin in blue Toile de Jouy, the Ida is a wrap top with elbow length flowy sleeves. It is a true wrap with a string path at the waistline so you can control the level of overlap and how loose/tight you wish to tie it.
- Nazerke is wearing XS and her height is 1.60m.
- Standard length from shoulder to hem is 40cms. Length can vary a few cms depending on size and the product showcased has been altered in length to best fit the model’s height.
- A soft poplin with a little bit of stretch that is made from GOTS certified Organic Cotton. It is a perfectly balanced weight, neither too thick to be unbreathable during summer, nor too light to make it sheer.

Ida B. Wells-Barnett was a prominent journalist, activist, and researcher, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In her lifetime, she battled sexism, racism, and violence. Wells was an active fighter for woman suffrage, particularly for Black women. In 1913 she founded what may have been the first Black women’s suffrage group, Chicago’s Alpha Suffrage Club. For more than four decades, Wells-Barnett’s militant voice brought worldwide attention to the evil of lynching and influenced the course of American reform.

This piece was a big step for me to buy and wear. I have rather large breasts and am overweight, and this top shows it all. I have worn it with a top underneath it and am working towards wearing it as is. The sleeves are beautiful and the fabric is a bit stretchy. For me, the string could have been a bit longer, but I could have requested that.
