• Made from a sturdy organic cotton canvas in black, the Carlota is a cropped blazer with lace trim adorning its Peter Pan collar. The front parts of the blazer have a swirled cut and it’s buttons are heart shaped and made from sea shell, so they have a beautiful sheen.
• Nazerke is wearing XS and her height is 1.60m.
• Standard length from neckline to hem is 40cms. Length can vary a few cms depending on size and the product showcased may have been altered in length to best fit the model’s height.
• This fabric is a sturdy 100% organic cotton that is of medium thickness, has a bit of stretch and holds its form while still being soft to the touch.

Carlota Matienzo earned a teaching degree at the University of Puerto Rico, then pursued doctoral studies in philosophy at Columbia University in New York. She is credited with working for reform of the public school system in Puerto Rico, and as one of the founders in 1917 of the Puerto Rican Feminine League and in 1921 of the Suffragist Social League. She was posthumously honored with a hall in her name at the University of Puerto Rico, where the annual Carlota Matienzo Prize is awarded to graduates who demonstrate outstanding ability in teaching.
