“Audre” Dress Green Lyocell

Taking inspiration straight from the Christmas tree, the Audre dress is bound to bring around the spirit in even the greenest of Grinches – or at least help you look absolutely fabulous this Holiday season, regardless of either tradition.

• Made from soft lyocell in emerald green, the Audre is a knee length dress with a marked elasticated waist. It has a tie neckline that forms a pussybow (or not, you can tie it however), long puffy sleeves that end in cuffs and a tiered flowy skirt made from 3 rows of fabric.
• Nazerke is wearing XS and her height is 1.62m.
• Standard length from waistline to hem is 55cms (can vary a few cms depending on size, standard length was measured on size L).
• One of the most beautiful and high quality fabrics we’ve had yet, the Lyocell is soft as butter with body and weight, very similar to a thick silk. Feels luxurious, but completely vegan and certified to ensure its gentleness to the environment.
• The cuffs feature two rows of buttons to ensure the best fit.
• Feature an elasticated waist to ensure a comfortable fit.

Poet and author Audre Lorde was a visionary who shared her experience as a Black lesbian woman and mother through her writing. Lorde earned her bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and a master’s degree in library science from Columbia University. She chronicled her struggles with breast cancer diagnosis in The Cancer Journals. Audre’s advocacy for marginalised groups continued outside her literary career. She was one of the founders of Kitchen Table: Women of Colour Press and Sisterhood in Support of Sisters in South Africa, organizations that promoted feminists of colour and their writing and, respectively, advocated on behalf of women living under apartheid.
