Product fit details

  • Made from soft & warm organic cotton velvet, the Ana dress is a midi length, cowl neckline slip dress with two lateral slits and two sets of straps that you can tie together as high/low as you’d like, which also adjusts the deepness of the neckline.
  • Vivane is wearing L and her height is 1.73m.
  • Standard length from shoulder to hem is 110cms (can vary a few cms depending on size, standard length was measured on size L).
  • A stretchy 100% organic cotton velvet that is soft to the touch, has wonderful body and weight to keep you warm in the colder months and a soft, sophisticated sheen.

Ana Mendieta was a Cuban-American performance artist, video-artist, and sculptor interested in the relationship between the female body and nature. Her “earth-body” artworks famously used the natural world and her own body as powerful mediums of expression, interrogating humanity’s relationship to the land and the cosmos.
Mendieta went on to receive an MA in painting and an MFA in intermedia from the University of Iowa. Today, her works are on display at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, Art Institute of Chicago, and Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, among others.
