An adorable half circle skirt made from the same soft gabardine as the trench coats, which makes it both a great skirt for the colder seasons given the sturdy nature of the fabric and ensures its longevity in time. - Made from sturdy organic cotton canvas in the most beautiful beige floral print, the Sampat is a midi length half circle skirt. The waistline is fitted and has elastic on the sides for a comfortable fit as well as a hidden zipper at the back. It has two heart shaped pockets on the front that are lined with an adorable white voile frill. You can add additional pockets in the side seams to bring it to a total of four roomy pockets.

Sampat Pal Devi is an Indian social activist. She is the founder of the “Gulabi Gang”, an all-women group of vigilante force. The sisterhood has stormed police stations when officers have refused to register complaints of abuse against women, attacked men who have abused their wives, stopped child marriages and encourages girls to go to school. The women members wear of Gulabi Gang carry simple weapons like bamboo sticks with themselves, which they use whenever they face violent resistance.

Adore this skirt! It’s exactly what I wanted!
I got so so many compliments on it, and it goes with so many colours because of the florals.
Also wore it on a warm day in Australia and it was no warmer than any of my other skirts–love that I’ll still be able to wear it for most of the year even though it’s a heavier material.
It is really forgiving around the waist with the elastic, but most of my other skirts have been uncomfortably tight around the waist lately, so it’s lovely to have something that doesn’t cut in.
Will definitely be purchasing from loudbodies again!

My new summer go to! The fabric is sturdy and falls very nicely, the skirt feels like it will ast me forever and is still comfortable as any. Strechy on both sides and a back zipper is perfect. People envy my vast amounts of pockets!! True to size. Looks slightly darker in normal indoor lighting, but still gorgeous!
