A play off of our best selling Olympe dress, Lucy is its flowier sister – the skirt is no longer pleated, but a classic half circle and it’s made from this stunning Naia based fabric that looks wet, metallic almost. A dress so simple, but with such a special feel.
Product fit details
- Made from soft Naia viscose, the Lucy is a classic skater silhouette dress with a fitted bodice and a midi half circle skirt with an elasticated waistband in a stunning shade of periwinkle. The fabric has a beautiful shine that makes it look metallic.
- Otilia is wearing 2XL and her height is 1.76m.
- Standard length from waistline to hem is 70cms (can vary a few cms depending on size, standard length was measured on size 2XL).
- A soft, shiny and textured Naia based stretch fabric – think viscose, but with all needed certifications to ensure no harmful deforestation and chemical processes have happened in order to obtain this fiber.
- Features an elasticated waist to ensure a comfortable fit.

This dress actually makes me feel like a princess. It’s flowy and the colour is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is a little but see-through, so that’s good to know. The only thing is that the fabric snatches rather easily on my nails (when I didn’t file them) or on my watch. But that doesn’t really spoil the fun for me when wearing it.

Soft flowy fabric with a subtle shine to it. Does not wrinkle much and is very lightweight. Dries quickly. Perfect for traveling or a day on the beach/near a lake.
Fabric is kind of sheer, so take note of that.

This dress is so comfortable and moves so beautifully! The fabric is lighter than air. I do wear a slip under mine because the fabric is more on the sheer side. I’m amazed at how well it holds its shape even with my phone or bulky keys in the pockets. (you can still see them, but it doesn’t seem to weigh the dress down, which is impressive!)

I was shocked by the quality of this garment, as the hem is very visibly uneven (by several inches at the side seams). I will have to alter it considerably to even up the hem, which I didn’t expect to have to do for a dress from Loud Bodies. Fabric stains & snags very easily.

I must admit I catched this one in the sales, which makes me both lucky and my purse happy. For my taste, due to the slightly sheen fabric, an underskirt might be necessary. I thought there was a second layer, so I was bummed out for a second there until I twirled, and the soft fabric just floated so wonderfully around me. So love at second sight. Will wear happily for a long time!
