• Made from a soft & stretchy organic cotton poplin in blue Toile de Jouy, the Doria is a lace-up corset with the lacing at the front. Its straps are also white and can be tied in a bow or a simple knot at the back.
• Taryn is wearing 2XL and her height is 1.65m and Nazerke is wearing XS and her height is 1.60m.
• Standard length from neckline to hem is 28cms. Length can vary a few cms depending on size and the product showcased has been altered in length to best fit the model’s height.
• A soft poplin with a little bit of stretch that is made from GOTS certified Organic Cotton. It is a perfectly balanced weight, neither too thick to be unbreathable during summer, nor too light to make it sheer.

Doria Shafik was an Egyptian feminist, poet and editor, and one of the principal leaders of the women’s liberation movement in Egypt in the mid-1940s. She was the first Egyptian woman to obtain a doctorate from the Sorbonne. After being excluded from the elite Feminist Union, Shafik started her own movement, the Daughters of the Nile Union, dedicated to educating and organizing working women of all classes. In 1957, she denounced Gamal Abdel Nasser as a dictator and was subsequently put under house arrest, erased from all historical print media, and had her own magazine shut down.
