This fabric does not carry certifications because it is deadstock, which is inherently sustainable. We source deadstock (excess fabric) from luxury brands and save it from being dumped in a landfill or burned, the industry standard. Nothing new can be more sustainable than using something that is already produced, so using deadstock fabrics is a brilliant way to reduce textile waste and uphold sustainable values

Discover the legacy of
Annie Maunder
Annie Maunder was an Irish astronomer who became a renowned observer and photographer of solar eclipses, and an expert in sunspots. Annie was a graduate of Girton College in Cambridge, however due to restrictions of the period, she was not allowed to receive the B.A. degree that she would have otherwise earned. After marrying her colleague and the head of the Solar Department, Walter Maunder, she continued collaborating with her husband and published her work under his name until she was admitted to the Royal Astronomical Association in 1916.
