- The fabric is soft, stretchy and opaque, made from 100% Lyocell
- It does not feature a zipper (none of our items do, as we try to reduce consumption & waste to a minimum)

Nicknamed “China’s first feminist”, Qiu Jin defied tradition to become a revolutionary leader during the Qing dynasty. Qiu was sentenced for writing two poems about traditions that seemed unfair to her, and executed after a failed uprising against the Qing dynasty. She is considered a national heroine in China, a feminist icon.

Ever since I laid eyes on this top, I fell in love with its fantastic shape. Those sleeves! The fabric is really nice too–stretchy, but durable. It pairs really well with other items in my wardrobe and I feel amazing in it. I do have a few notes for others thinking of ordering
-My arms are a lot thinner than my torso would suggest, so the sleeves do tend to slide towards my wrist. If you’re like me, maybe consider a custom order.
-You may have noticed that the neckline looks fairly low and the body of the top is fairly short. This is definitely something I found to be true, I didn’t mind it but it is probably something to keep in mind when selecting sizes.
Overall, a beautiful piece I will treasure for years!
